BIC World in Mexico invites a Production Planning Supervisor to optimize production schedules and inventory across copackers, ensuring on-time manufacturing and cost control.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Administration, or Supply Chain, strong Excel and ERP skills (Oracle or SAP), and experience with 3PL and materials flow optimization. Hybrid work arrangement.

Formación

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Administration, or Supply Chain.
• Experience in materials management for high production volumes.
• Knowledge of 3PL, leadership, teamwork, and Excel; ERP experience (Oracle or SAP).

Responsabilidades

• Plan and execute the cyclical inventory schedule in different locations.
• Copackers KPI's monitoring.
• Rotate materials based on FIFO.
• Ensure ERP shows correct information for material movements.

Purpose of the job

Create production plans maximizing the organization's resources, meeting the objectives of volume, cost, waste and quality.

Key accountabilities

1. Create production schedules maximizing company resources

2. Plan and execute the cyclical inventory schedule in the different locations.

3. Copackers KPI´s monitoring.

4. Rotate materials based in FIFO.

5. Ensure that the ERP system has the correct information on each movement between locations.

Knowledge, skills and experience

Minimum qualification required: Bachelor’s degree (Engineering, Administration, Supply Chain)

Knowledge / experience required beyond minimum qualification: Materials management in industries with high production volumes, analysis of causes of inventory discrepancies, inventory management, savings implementation, external warehouse management.

Other key factors: Knowledge of 3PL, Leadership, teamwork, results-focused work, Excel, ERP Management (Oracle or SAP).

Challenges of the job

1. Ensure the on time manufacturing in each copacker

2. Guarantee optimal inventory levels according with the cost objectives.

3. Define strategies to eliminate inventory differences.

4. Create strategies for the flow of materials.

Decisions made

1. Define the volume and products to be produced in each copacker

2. Define the convenient quantities to keep in inventory in each location.

3. Define the action plan to minimize the inventory discrepancies

4. Define priorities for materials flow.
