We are a U.S.-based metal-mechanical company, a market leader in the automotive spare parts sector. With eight years of operations in Mexico, our specialties include tube bending, laser cutting, machining, manufacturing of metal parts, and MIG/TIG welding on tubes. Due to growth, we are looking for a Production Manager.

Job Description and Responsibilities
What will you be doing in this role?
- Ensure Safety, Hygiene, and Quality in assigned areas.
- Manage information systems and inventory.
- Follow up on Non-Conformities (Quality and Safety).
- Execute production plans according to planning guidelines—delivering orders on time, in the required quantity, with the expected quality and standard cost. Meet weekly production targets.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to solve problems.
- Supervise, train, and support direct production staff; coordinate their activities.
- Manage timekeeping and personnel control (including internal staff movements by area).
- Conduct process audits to prevent non-conformities and identify improvement opportunities in Safety, Quality, Process, and 5S.
- Lead responsible areas and implement improvements and action plans.
- Enforce the internal labor regulations.
- Prepare, update, and regularly analyze performance indicator reports.
Experience and Requirements
You might be a good fit if you have:
- A completed degree in Engineering or Industrial Administration (preferred).
- At least 10 years of proven experience in a similar role (shift lead or higher).
- Experience with Manufacturing Systems in Metalmechanic / Automotive Processes
- Proficiency in MS Office and preferably IFS ERP.
- English level 85 % to 90%
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools (VSM, line balancing, Kaizen, etc.) and Six Sigma (e.g., 8D or other quality problem-solving methodologies).
- Familiarity with BOMs and blueprint interpretation (preferred).
- Strong leadership and decision-making confidence.
- Skilled in personnel management and conflict resolution.
- Understanding of Mexico’s Federal Labor Law (LFT).
