Carrier seeks a skilled Procurement Specialist to drive sourcing activities, manage supplier relationships, and optimize costs across our operations. The role partners with internal teams to ensure compliant purchasing processes and alignment with financial objectives.

The candidate should bring a minimum of 5 years in procurement, strong analytical abilities, and experience with ERP systems such as SAP to optimize supplier performance and value creation for the organization.

About the Role

The Procurement Specialist plays a key role in supporting procurement operations through supplier management, sourcing activities, contract compliance, and cost optimization initiatives. This position partners with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure the efficient execution of purchasing processes while contributing to Carrier's operational and financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Executing procurement processes, standards, and operational plans in support of sourcing and purchasing objectives.
• Evaluating, qualifying, and managing suppliers to meet business requirements.
• Preparing and reviewing RFPs, bid packages, and supplier proposals.
• Analyzing pricing, financial data, and procurement metrics to support cost-effective purchasing decisions.
• Monitoring supplier and contract performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and business expectations.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Procurement, Purchasing, Strategic Sourcing, or Supply Chain.
• Experience managing supplier relationships, negotiations, and sourcing activities.
• Experience analyzing pricing, contracts, and procurement data.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP.
• Advanced analytical and data reporting skills.
