Job summary
Brose North America Inc in Querétaro, Mexico is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to develop MES concepts, optimize OEE, and lead the planning and procurement of production equipment. You will implement improvements across processes and contribute to customer projects with robust quality assurance practices.
The ideal candidate brings 3–5 years of experience, strong knowledge of fastening, riveting, flaring, pressing and joining, and advanced English proficiency.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in a similar position.
- Knowledge of fastening, riveting, flaring, pressing and joining manufacturing steps.
- Experience in procurement of production equipment.
- Advanced English proficiency.
Responsibilities
- Create MES concepts and implement on new equipment, improving installed processes.
- Ensure OEE, availability, and quality for internal/customer runs.
- Plan, procure, and introduce production equipment within budget and schedule.
- Develop rough and detailed manufacturing concepts and test resource reuse.
- Conceive PT indicators and implement technical changes for customer projects.
- Develop concepts for seat production technologies: fastening, riveting, etc.
- Apply quality assurance methods (Poka Yoke, P-FMEA, capability, etc.).
