Job summary

Flex is seeking a Production Engineering professional in Ciudad Juárez to set up processing equipment, monitor line performance and provide hands-on support to engineers during new product introductions.

Job Summary

Principle Accountabilities

• Performs set-up of processing equipment.
• Monitors, audits and provides guidance to line operators.
• Processes test runs and prepares records (breakdown events, scrap, etc.), charts, and graphs of results for presentation to engineering to identify yield problems or test new products.
• Provides technical assistance to process development and engineering personnel.
• Line change configuration.
• Performs corrective maintenance.
• Follows escalation procedures.

Education / Experience

Typically requires an Associate's Degree in related field, technical training or equivalent education and training. Successful completion of company provided training may be required. Typically requires 4-6 years of related experience.

As a skilled specialist, completes tasks in creative and effective ways.

Assists in developing goals/targets of line or department Moderate impact. May have influence on multiple programs or areas.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to work that requires repetitive motion. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
