Ambu A/S is expanding its manufacturing site in Mexico and seeks a Process Engineer to support testing, pilot production, transfer, installation, validation, startup and documentation of new products. Your work ensures the site runs smoothly and supports growth.

You will assess capacity, drive process improvements, assist validation initiatives, train staff and collaborate across functions to meet regulatory and quality standards.

Formación

• Assists with GR&R, SVs, engineering studies and protocols as part of qualification requirements.
• Strong written and oral communication skills essential for cross-functional teamwork.
• Experience in the medical device industry preferred.
• English language proficiency at an advanced level is expected.
• Associate degree or equivalent in a manufacturing/industrial field.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience or equivalent knowledge.

Responsabilidades

We are growing and expanding our Manufacturing Site in Mexico! In the job as Process Engineer, you will have the opportunity to actively support the organization by meeting ensuring that our manufacturing site runs as needed to have the growth expected of the products we make in Mexico, excel in your own daily tasks and responsibilities, and experience a very varied working day in a dynamic.

Objective:

The Process Engineer provide engineering support for testing, production-pilot, transfer, installation, validation, start up, stabilization and documentation of new products and equipment integration into manufacturing sites.

Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

• Assess shop capacity and make recommendations to increase capacity to meet business demands.
• Identify & implement shop floor process improvements that increase output and reduce overall costs.
• Assist MFG team in developing new product validation program and assure compliance to reduce the launch time.
• Perform walkthroughs, inspections, product evaluation and testing as needed.
• Conduct Engineering test evaluations such are: GR&R, SVs, Test Method, Criticality.
• Ability to understand and utilize assembly documentation such as but not limited to the following: Schematics, BOM's, Visuals, Debug, Testing tools and procedures.
• Provide clear direction and training for production associates.
• Advise on scheduling and staffing needs.
• Provides guidance, training, and leadership to new technicians or clerks.
• Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Demonstrated success in working across functions, organizations, and all levels of management.
• Achieving results through other team members and suppliers. Drive for action and quality focused.
• Must be a highly motivated, proactive, self-directed worker.

Qualifications / Education:

• An Associates of Industrial Engineering, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or similar or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1-3 years of experience or equivalent knowledge and skills to perform the position responsibilities.
• Experience in the medical device industry or medical field.
• Experience in GR&R, SVs, Eng. Studies, Protocols (Preferred)
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• English language medium to advance.
