Trane Technologies, a leader in climate solutions, seeks a Process and Quality Engineer (PQE) for the Assembly area to ensure safety, quality, production, delivery, and cost objectives while driving continuous improvement in metal-mechanic manufacturing lines. The candidate should have around 3 years of experience in manufacturing/Quality and strong knowledge of AutoCAD, Lean, DMAIC, and GD&T.

Advanced English is required.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial and/or Mechanical Engineering, preferably with a manufacturing processes focus.
• Experience in Manufacturing/Process/Quality engineering.
• Approximately 3 years of knowledge in assembly / sheet metal / machining.
• General knowledge of AutoCAD, Office, Lean Manufacturing, Core tools, DMAIC, GD&T, MiniTab, and basic electricity.
• Advanced conversational English.

Responsabilidades

• Audit and maintain processes in optimal condition.
• Maintain updated methods sheets, visual aids, formats and quality records at the source.
• Update PFMEA for any product or process changes.
• Update and ensure compliance with the Control Plan.
• Update and ensure compliance with JSA.
• Define and control line balancing, STD work and combined work sheet.
• Measure, analyze and improve SCRAP, FPY, DPU, Downtime and Line Efficiency indicators.
• Analysis of concessions and warranties.
• Provide support and follow-up on engineering changes.
• Administration and implementation of new projects.
• Participate in Gembas and RIES.
• Provide support and follow-up to MDI dashboards.
• Analysis and follow-up on complaints and CARs.

¿Qué hay para ti?

Como PQE (Process and Quality Engineer) para el área de Ensamble deberás asegurar el soporte adecuado para cumplimiento de los objetivos de seguridad, calidad, producción, entregas y costo así como establecer la cultura de mejora continua en las áreas de manufactura de la planta Compresores y HVAC

Lo que harás:

Auditar y Mantener los procesos en óptimas condiciones

Responsable de mantener actualizados Hojas de métodos, ayudas visuales, formatos y registros de calidad en la fuente.

Actualizar PFMEA para cualquier cambio en producto o proceso

Actualizar y asegurar el cumplimiento del Plan de Control

Actualizar y asegurar el cumplimiento de JSA

Definir y controlar los balanceos de líneas, STD work y hoja de trabajo combinado

Medir, analizar y mejorar los indicadores de SCRAP, FPY, DPU´s, Downtime y Eficiencia de las líneas

Análisis de concesiones y Garantías

Dar Soporte y seguimiento a cambios de ingeniería

Administración e implementación de nuevos proyectos

Participar en Gembas y RIES

Dar soporte y seguimiento a tableros MDI

Análisis y seguimiento a Quejas y CARs

Lo que traerás:

Licenciatura en Ingeniería Industrial y / o Mecánica, especialidad en procesos de manufactura metal mecánicos (deseable)

Experiencia en áreas de Ingeniería de manufactura / Ingeniería de Procesos / Calidad

Alrededor de 3 años de Conocimientos específicos según el área de responsabilidad, Ensamble / Sheet Metal / Maquinado).

Conocimientos generales independientes del área: Autocad, Office, Lean Manufacturing, Core tools, DMAIC, GD&T, MiniTab, Electricidad básica (Conocimientos específicos según el área de responsabilidad
