Vertiv is seeking a detail-oriented Buyer to join the Purchasing team in Reynosa, Mexico. The role focuses on administrative tasks and entry-level purchasing activities to ensure smooth day-to-day operations within the department.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma (associate/bachelor's preferred) and 3–5 years in a manufacturing admin/purchasing environment, with strong organizational skills and MS Office proficiency. ERP experience (IFS) is a plus.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree or bachelor’s preferred.
• 3–5 years in a manufacturing admin or purchasing environment preferred.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP or purchasing software is a plus.
• Basic understanding of purchasing processes and inventory management.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsabilidades

• Handle administrative tasks to support purchasing functions (data entry, file management, document organization).
• Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, supplier information, and inventory data.
• Assist with scheduling meetings, reports, and presentations.
• Serve as a point of contact for stakeholders and manage communications.
• Process purchase orders by creating, updating, and tracking orders to ensure timely delivery.
• Conduct basic supplier/product research to support purchasing decisions.
• Monitor order statuses and address discrepancies or delays with suppliers.
• Assist in managing supplier relationships and resolving issues.
• Help maintain accurate inventory levels by coordinating with receiving and warehouse teams.
• Input and manage data in purchasing and inventory systems with accuracy.
• Generate weekly and monthly reports on purchasing activity, inventory, and orders.
• Assist with expense tracking and invoice reconciliation.
