Role Definition

Manages the day-to-day operations of one or more manufacturing production lines, prepares schedules, resolves issues, and ensures adherence to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Managing staffing, development, and performance management programs for operations staff; creating reports and records of production processes, tools issues performance, and inventory; sharing suggestions with managers and leading improvements to safety, productivity and quality for assigned areas of accountability.
• Overseeing operations activities, ensuring that safety, schedules and performance requirements are met, and system resources are used effectively.
• Monitoring overall operations performance and implementing production safety, cost, and quality control mechanisms.
• Ensuring compliance of all regulatory guidelines and forges a safe and sound manufacturing environment.

Position Expectations

• Spoken and written English
• Experience with ISO 9000 standards
• Ability to communicate, instruct, and motivate the participation of leaders and team members under their supervision
• Experience and skills in personnel selection, as well as in staff management and human relations
• Ability to manage, organize, and coordinate manufacturing resources, as well as to interpret production plans
• Skills in delegating tasks, leading, solving and preventing issues related to production, safety, quality, and on-time deliveries
• Strategic and problem-solving focused.

Degree Requirement

• Engineering or bachelor's degree program.
• 4 years or more as Production Supervisor.
