Lab49 in Mexico City is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to lead a team of engineers tasked with designing, building, and deploying UI technology for investment managers. You will report to the Tech Lead on the Project team and collaborate with a US-based team of project leads while directing a local team of engineers to deliver performant web applications.

You will partner with clients, contribute to engineering culture, and drive projects from design through deployment.

Formación

• 10+ years building complex software applications.
• 5+ years leading Agile teams.
• Experience with finance/consulting/startups.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Frontend and backend development with TypeScript and C#/.NET.

Responsabilidades

• Lead design and build of user experiences using modern web development tech.
• Manage a team of predominantly front-end engineers and collaborate with other contributors.
• Act as hands-on engineer and architect on small initiatives and complex systems.
• Maintain client relationships and contribute to expanding client engagements.
• Collaborate with business development to craft pitches and engagement terms.
