Micron Technology, Inc. in Guadalajara, Jalisco seeks a Principal Engineer CAD to support CAD tools and flows for advanced memory designs such as HBM, DRAM, and new technologies.

You will work with HBM design, layout, and verification teams to deploy sophisticated capabilities and best practices across distributed teams. The role covers mixed-signal, transistor-level IC design, including layout, place-and-route, verification, and timing/power analysis.

Formación

• 5+ years of direct CAD or Design experience in mixed-signal, custom IC design flows.
• Proven experience in technical IC Design or CAD teams distributed worldwide.
• Familiarity with memory design (DDR3/4/5, LP3/4/5, HBM, NAND).
• Experience qualifying vendor tools and internally developed software releases.
• Proven ability to develop software prototypes for IC design, layout, analysis.
• Experience running agile (software) sprints.
• Experience with Machine Learning algorithms and production-grade ML applications in IC Design.

Responsabilidades

• Provide day-to-day support for CAD tools, flows, and collateral for HBM design teams at the Guadalajara Design Center.
• Collaborate with HBM design, layout, and verification teams to propose and co-develop capabilities and best practices.
• Support all aspects of mixed-signal, transistor-level custom IC design, including layout, automated place and route, P&R tools, verification, ERC, extraction, simulation, timing and power analysis, reliability, tape-out, and mask generation.
