A global automotive supplier in Saltillo, Coahuila, is seeking a qualified professional to manage PPAP processes. The role involves coordinating with departments such as Engineering and Production, ensuring compliance with specific customer requirements, and engaging in audits. Candidates should have at least 3 years of relevant experience and a background in Industrial Engineering or similar fields, alongside strong teamwork skills and advanced English proficiency. The position offers a balanced work environment between plant floor and office settings.

Formación

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Advanced knowledge and experience in PPAP.
  • Knowledge in GD&T and drawing interpretation.

Required Education and Experience
  • Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Management Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Understanding and use of Core Tools.
  • Advanced knowledge and experience in PPAP.
  • Knowledge in problem‑solving methodology and analysis.
  • Experience using customer portals: GM, Ford, and Stellantis.
  • Knowledge in GD&T and drawing interpretation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong teamwork skills, resilience, and proactivity.
  • Advanced English.
Essential Functions
  • Coordinate the preparation, collection, and submission of all PPAP elements (Levels 1 to 5 as required).
  • Interact with areas such as Engineering, Production, Purchasing, Logistics, and Launch to ensure the availability of necessary technical information.
  • Ensure compliance with Customer Specific Requirements.
  • Maintain updated records of approvals, rejections, and PPAP change requests.
  • Participate in internal and external audits related to PPAP management.
  • Train and provide technical support to other departments regarding PPAP requirements.
  • Manage the re‑PPAP process when required (product/process changes, new suppliers, etc.).
  • Follow up on part approvals by the customer and manage responses to rejections.

  • Overtime as required.
Health and Safety
  • Must work in accordance with Health and Safety regulations, Company and plant rules, policies and procedures.
