Job summary

Information Technologies Consultant Home S.A. De C.V. seeks a Power BI Developer to design and maintain dashboards, reports, and data models for business insights. The role requires strong skills in data modeling, Power Query, M, and DAX, plus experience with SAP integrations.

The position is hybrid in CDMX, with initial three months in the office (three days a week) before potential remote work. A Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of Power BI experience are required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into BI solutions.

Power BI Developer «Advisor» Hybrid-CDMX Experience Required

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models to support business needs.
• Establish and manage connectivity to multiple data sources, including SAP and other enterprise systems.
• Implement robust data modeling practices to ensure scalability and performance.
• Utilize Power Query, M scripting, and DAX to transform and analyze data effectively.
• Design intuitive and visually appealing layouts aligned with business requirements and UX best practices.
• Configure and manage security roles and row-level security within Power BI.
• Deploy and manage solutions on PowerBI.com, including workspaces, apps, and sharing protocols.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable BI solutions.
• Ensure compliance with data governance and security standards.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Power BI development and administration.
• Proven experience integrating Power BI with SAP and other enterprise systems.
• Strong proficiency in: -Data Modeling -Power Query -M scripting -DAX -Layout and Design principles -Security configuration -PowerBI.com administration
• Solid understanding of relational databases, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure services (Data Factory, Synapse, etc.).
• Familiarity with other BI tools and data visualization platforms.
• Knowledge of SAP BW or SAP HANA CDS Views integration with Power BI.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• General knowledge of AI tools to aid in Power BI development.
