Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is seeking a Plant Manager for the Puebla site in Mexico. You will lead the IM SC Puebla site, setting operational and strategic directions, collaborating with Quality, Compliance, MSAT, Finance, IT, HR, Facilities, Procurement and Planning teams to deliver site objectives.

You will nurture an inclusive culture, develop talent, and drive continuous improvements, while championing compliant operations across a global network. Occasional travel may be required.

Formación

  • Minimum 15 years in supply chain environment (operations, quality, engineering).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Pharmacy or equivalent. Master’s degree preferred.

Responsabilidades

  • Lead and develop the Puebla site, building a culture of accountability and collaboration.

We are searching for the best talent for Plant Manager IMSC Puebla Site role to be based in Puebla, Mexico.

Purpose

Are you passionate about supplying high-quality pharmaceutical products to patients? At our Innovative Medicine Supply Chain (IMSC) unit in Puebla, México, we are looking for a Plant Manager that will lead and implement the future of the site.

You set operational and strategic direction and influence across a matrix of functional partners, including Quality, Compliance, MSAT, Finance, IT, Human Resources, Facilities, Procurement and Planning, and EHS, as well as other global Supply Chain leaders and the Commercial organization to deliver short and long-term objectives.

You nurture an environment that puts employee development and an inclusive workforce at the center and build a culture of accountability, collaboration and innovation.

As the Plant Manager, you continue promoting the Puebla site to new execution standards by building meaningful internal and external relationships and partnering with different levels of the organization.

Qualifications / Requirements
  • Minimum of 15 years in supply chain environment (operations, quality, engineering) required.
  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Pharmacy or equivalent required. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Business Knowledge and a good understanding of the technologies that are applied in a drug product facility.
  • Understanding of compliance requirements (cGMP) and of Prevention regulations (EHS) and guidelines.
  • Proven experience leading complex business transformations in highly regulated environments, including operating model redesign, change management, end-to-end process improvement, and alignment of cross-functional teams to global and regional strategic objectives.
  • Ability to analyse problems and derive thoughtful solutions with agility by working with your team members and being excellent in communicating solutions and directions to the organization.
  • Insight in costing & budgeting, financial systems & understanding of market economic factors required.
  • Ability to function in a highly complex global environment and connect with different functional groups and people in multiple levels is required.
  • Track record of influencing the external environment based on knowledge of social, political, regulatory and economic issues affecting business domestically and globally. Ability to build effective partnering relationships.
  • Excellent People Management skills and hands-on track record in building high performing teams. Coaching leadership style that develops talent with proven success as people leader.
  • A strong change and engaging leader.
  • Knowledge of JJPS including Standard Work for Leaders or equivalent continuous improvement methodologies is preferred.
  • This role may require up to 10% domestic and international travel.
  • English language proficiency: Advanced C1 level or higher under the CEFR.
  • Because this position is eligible for a company car as a work tool, the following are also required:

Valid driver’s license and at least 3 years of experience driving a car, preferably on highways or roads at 80 to 100 km/h and with standard transmission vehicles.
