Kiewit Mexico is seeking a piping design engineer with 3–5 years of experience to deliver piping layouts, racks, and isometrics. You will create 3D models and drafting using SmartPlant3D and AutoCAD, review drawings, and collaborate across disciplines to ensure integrated project delivery.

The role requires a Mechanical Engineering degree, proficiency in SmartPlant3D, and strong English communication for cross‑border teams. This is a full‑time on‑site position in Querétaro, Mexico.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of piping design experience in Power Generation, Oil & Gas, or industrial projects.
• Proficiency in 3D modeling and SmartPlant3D.
• Knowledge of ASME and API piping standards; ability to produce design docs.

Responsabilités

• Prepare piping designs, piping racks, and critical systems layouts.
• Develop 3D model design and drafting using AutoCAD and SmartPlant3D.
• Review shop drawings and provide detailed feedback.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for integrated delivery.
• Propose design solutions considering practicality and best methods.
