Job summary

Tecnológico de Monterrey in Estado de México invites applications for a Full-Time Professor of Physics to advance teaching and research in Nanotechnology. The role strengthens the Science Department within the School of Engineering and Sciences and supports undergraduate and graduate programs across physics and materials science.

The candidate will lead education innovation, develop computational physics projects, publish internationally, and engage with external partners to attract funding

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Physics with research experience in Nanomaterials or Nanotechnology.
• Specialization in computational modeling of physical systems (preferred).
• Recognition by the National System of Researchers (SNI) at least at the Candidate level (preferred).
• Recent publications and participation in international conferences (preferred).
• Minimum English proficiency level of B2 (ability to teach courses in English).

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver rigorous learning experiences aligned with international standards of academic excellence.
• Strengthen and update the Physics program within the Science area, contributing to its differentiation.
• Generate impact through research, external engagement and relevant academic output.
• Collaborate with faculty to advance the School's institutional positioning.
• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses at the Estado de México Campus and support related educational initiatives.
• Develop computational physics projects and engage in nanomaterials research activities.
