Overview

We are hiring Payroll Specialists (Level I & II) to join our growing team in Mexico. If you have payroll, accounting, or finance experience with strong attention to detail and organizational skills, this is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a dynamic environment.

Requirements – Payroll Specialist I

• Associate’s degree in Business Administration (or High School Diploma + 2 years relevant experience).
• 2+ years in customer-focused roles requiring detail orientation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee data.

Responsibilities – Payroll Specialist I

• Assist in resolving time & attendance discrepancies.
• Ensure manager approval of hourly timecards.
• Enter wage garnishments, 401(k) deferrals, and employee loans into the system.
• Complete verification of employment & unemployment forms.
• Distribute pay statements and respond to employee queries.
• Support payroll-related reporting, audits, and documentation.
• Cross-train with Payroll Specialist II for backup support.

Requirements – Payroll Specialist II

• Associate’s degree in Accounting, Business Admin, or related field (or HS Diploma + 2 years relevant experience).
• 2+ years in payroll, finance, accounting, or bookkeeping.
• 4+ years in customer-focused roles requiring attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organizational & time management skills.

Responsibilities – Payroll Specialist II

• Process accurate and timely U.S. payrolls using ADP & Workday.
• Update payroll records (tax withholdings, HSA contributions, direct deposits).
• Review & import employee timecards, leaves, and time-off files.
• Maintain payroll tax account registrations.
• Prepare month- and quarter-end accruals for accounting.
• Assist with payroll audits, compliance, and employee verifications.
• Support payroll reporting, benefit enrollments (HSA/FSA), and multi-state payroll laws.
• Provide backup support for the Lead Payroll Specialist.
• High attention to detail, confidentiality, and adaptability.
• Teamwork mindset with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
