A global financial services leader is seeking an experienced Transformation Manager to lead payment platform migrations across Latin America. This role demands strong project management skills, a deep understanding of operational processing systems, and the ability to navigate complex transformation projects. The ideal candidate has over 5 years of experience managing such projects and communicates fluently in both English and Spanish. An emphasis on analytical abilities and presentation skills is essential for success in this role.

“TDD” (Transformation Design & Delivery) is part of the Payments Operations organization supporting CIB wide transformation and change programs and platforms. Ensuring that the things we build have been properly thought through, are high quality, sustainable and delivered quickly. We are focused on identifying opportunities to build more innovative things, often across products and LoB’s, where we can bring the organization together to define solutions/builds which are broader reaching.

The role will require working with stakeholders across the CIB, looking to leverage best practice across the industry and other J.P. Morgan business units. Lateral contacts in business, technology, operations, product and client-facing organizations firm wide would need to be developed and mined for best practices and for driving outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Lead robust platform/systems migration across Latin America
  • Manage Latin America Payments Platform transformation projects and related services including execution of business requirement, implementation and data analytics
  • Design and deliver best project management strategy to improve operational experience
  • Partner with Product, Operations, and Technology to identify barriers preventing efficient change deliverables
  • Develop multi-year roadmap, detailed project plan, and milestone delivery across multiple teams
  • Determine and consolidate metrics exhibiting progress against business benefits
  • Prepare senior management presentations highlighting progress against milestones, risks, issues, and any barriers requiring escalation
  • Ability to negotiate and influence senior partners and colleagues within the project team and ensure a consistent collaborative approach
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
  • Deep understanding of payments and collections platforms and operational processing systems.
  • Analytical mindset with ability to perform meaningful analysis, understand and explain underlying drivers (i.e. tell the story behind the numbers)
  • Strong presentation skills including generating documents and effectively communicating to all levels including senior management
  • Strong communication, time management and prioritization skills
  • Project Management experience with 5+ years managing complex transformation projects
  • Experience in Payments Business required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Economy, Business or related areas - required.
  • Agile methodology skills required.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish.
