Job summary

Halliburton seeks a Quality Assurance/Quality Control Coordinator to plan, review, and analyze quality data for oil & gas projects. You will implement QA/QMS, conduct SPC studies, and supervise QA/QC activities on site in Tabasco, Mexico.

Ideal candidates have 5 years of QA/HSE experience, knowledge of ISO 9001/45001, and intermediate English. This role requires residence in Tabasco and on-site work with potential vendor surveillance duties.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance and HSE within Oil & Gas.
• Residence in Tabasco, Mexico.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and 45001 standards preferred.
• Experience in work permit preparation preferred.
• Intermediate English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Plan, review, and analyze quality data; identify problems and report findings.
• Conduct Statistical Process Control studies and other QA/QC tools.
• Support implementation of QA/QMS systems (ISO 9001, API, etc.).
• Perform vendor surveillance activities on projects.
• May supervise other QA/QC coordinators.

Job Duties

Under broad direction, plans, reviews, and analyzes quality related data. Identifies problems, offers resolutions, and performs reporting activities. Conducts statistical studies using Statistical Process Controls and other Quality Improvement Process tools. May implement a Quality Assurance and/or Quality Management System such as ISO 9000, API, ESME, etc. for the site or project. May act in vendor surveillance activities on projects. This is the degreed, Quality Assurance/Quality Control Coordinator, and may supervise other Quality Assurance/Quality Control Coordinators. Candidate should have 5 years of experience which includes Engineering or Applied Science.

Requirements

• Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience of atleast 5 years in positions and/or activities related to Quality Assurance and HSE within the Oil & Gas industry.
• Preferable knowledge of ISO 9001 and 45001 standards..
• Preferable knowledge of work permit preparation.
• Intermediate English proficiency.
• Must reside in Tabasco.
• Promotes and takes an active part in quality improvement processes
