Responsible for leading,maintenanceand supervise industrial painting processes on metal parts and structures, ensuring compliance with quality standards, production timelines, environmental regulations, and safety protocols,todeliveran optimalanddurable finish that meets customer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, andoptimizepainting processes (electrostatic, liquid, powder coating, etc.).
• Maximizing efficiencies while ensuring quality
• Optimizingpaint change over process
• Establish systems for paint line (cleaning requirements, instructions, error proofing)
• Documentation development (Customer requirements, Control plan)
• Lead problem solving activities in relation to the painting process and application
• Ability to adjust/program/troubleshoot system
• Work with production department on production control and planning requirements
• Lead for customer issuesregardingpaint application (color matching, orange peel, etc.)
• Lead for developing the PM schedule
• Develop paint system continuous improvement activities
• Evaluate accuracy of production and testing equipment
• Study and rearrange material flow, and operations sequence
• Responsible for monitoring andensuringthe closure of corrective actions and non-conformities of SGCintheir own area.
• Evaluate effects of product design changes

Qualifications

• Experienced in Time / Methods Study techniques.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) spoke a 90%.
• Bachelor's degree in engineeringfield; Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering degree preferred
• Action and detail oriented, having a drive for success.
• Deep knowledge of manufacturing and production processes and concepts.
• Creative with the ability to use modern technology in the production process.
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
• Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
• Maintain and follow all training requirements
• Able to work different hours and shifts as needed
