The Opportunity

Are you passionate about hands-on IT support and ready to make a real impact in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? Hitachi Energy Transformers is looking for a proactive and customer-focused OSS - IT Support Specialist to join our Business Solutions IT team in Reynosa, Mexico.

This Day shift role (Monday–Friday, 7:20AM–4:56 PM) offers the chance to be the face of IT, solving real-world tech challenges and ensuring smooth operations for our on-site users.

How You’ll Make an Impact
  • Deliver ready-to-use computers and provide desk-side support to users.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues requiring physical intervention.
  • Guide users through self-service tools and provide ad-hoc training.
  • Manage inventory and update asset records in CMDB.
  • Coordinate logistics for device shipments and warranty cases.
  • Support IT equipment in meeting rooms and collaboration areas.
  • Host and assist third-party technicians on-site.
  • Monitor computer rooms for optimal functionality and compliance.
  • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
Your Background
  • Formal education or apprenticeship in IT from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in IT support.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English, with strong communication skills.
  • Proactive, solution-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Familiarity with tools like ServiceNow, MS Office 365, Windows, iOS.
  • Legal authorization to work in Mexico (no visa sponsorship available).
