Aesse Investments is looking for a dedicated individual to be responsible for the safe operation of the mixer and extruder in their manufacturing facility. You will set up and operate equipment, ensuring quality control while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma, mechanical aptitude, and previous manufacturing experience. This position requires occasional lifting of materials up to 55 pounds and good interpersonal skills.

POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for the safe operation of the mixer, extruder and other related equipment to produce plastic compound pellets.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• Responsible for proper extruder operation to maintain a quality product.
• Set up, tear down, adjust and operate all aspects of an extruder and related equipment, including quality checks, to produce a variety of plastic compounds.
• Maintain a safe, orderly and clean work area.
• Complete all necessary paperwork such as production reports, quality reports, pallet tags, etc.
• Direct and assist Material Handler with their job duties.
• Perform Material Handler duties as required.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & TRAINING

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment along with good verbal, written and interpersonal relations skills required.
• Basic math skills, good mechanical aptitude, problem solving skills and forklift driving experience are necessary.
• Previous extrusion experience preferred.
• Job requires occasional lifting of up to 55 pounds.
