Siemens Mobility is seeking an Operative Buyer to bridge production and customer satisfaction across North America. You will purchase finished goods from Siemens plants and global vendors, ensuring timely delivery and strong collaboration with Product Management, Customer Support, Sales, and Finance.

Responsibilities include SAP-based order management, vendor coordination, GR/IR control, and data integrity. Strong Excel skills and CRM familiarity support cross-functional needs in a hybrid setup.

• Solid understanding of Procurement or Supply Chain activities in a customer-focused or operational setting.
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems and strong Excel skills.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is ideal for North American support.

Responsabilidades

• Create and manage purchase orders in SAP based on customer needs and inventory signals.
• Coordinate with vendors to set priorities and monitor confirmations.
• Manage Goods Receipt/Invoice Receipt and resolve price discrepancies in P2P workflows.
• Communicate material availability and updates to Product Management, Customer Support, Sales, and Finance.
• Coordinate quality returns and ensure correct posting of credits.
• Collaborate with R&D, Procurement, and Finance to ensure smooth supply chain flow.

**Position Overview**

Are you ready to be the bridge between production and customer satisfaction? As an Operative Buyer , you will play a critical role in our North American operations. You will be responsible for purchasing finished goods from Siemens plants and global vendors, ensuring that our products reach our customers on time.

In this role, you won't just manage orders; you will drive delivery reliability and asset management through effective communication with stakeholders across the region.

**What you will do:**

• Order Management: Create and maintain purchase orders in SAP based on customer needs and inventory replenishment strategies.
• Vendor Coordination: Establish top priorities with vendors, manage confirmation messages, and drive vendor development activities to maintain high performance.
• Financial & Data Integrity: Manage GR/IR (Goods Receipt/Invoice Receipt), review invoices in the P2P tool, resolve price discrepancies, and set up vendor master data in SAP.
• Stakeholder Communication: Act as the key point of contact for Product Management, Customer Support, Sales, and Finance, providing detailed updates on material availability via Sie Sales and other platforms.
• Quality & Logistics: Coordinate quality returns to vendors and ensure the correct posting of credits.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Develop strong working relationships with R&D, Procurement, and Finance to ensure a seamless supply chain flow.

**What we need from you:**

• Experience: Solid understanding of Procurement or Supply Chain activities, preferably in a customer support or operational environment.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and Microsoft Excel .
• Soft Skills: Strong planning, organizational, and communication skills to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

**Preferred Knowledge/Skills:**

• Experience with CRM tools.
• Bilingual: Fluency in English and Spanish is essential for supporting the North American market.
