Key Responsibilities :

Provide preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative nursing care for surgical patients.Prepare and maintain a sterile environment in the operating room.Monitor patient condition and vital signs during procedures.Collaborate with the surgical team to anticipate and meet patient and surgeon needs.Document nursing interventions and patient responses accurately.Adhere to infection control and safety protocols at all times.Support and educate patients and families regarding surgical care and recovery.

Qualifications :

Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN required.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred (may be required within 6–12 months).At least 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience required.Must have passed the NCLEX.Skills & Competencies : Strong attention to detail and ability to anticipate surgical team needs.Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.Commitment to patient safety, teamwork, and quality outcomes.
