Marelli is seeking an EHS Specialist INSITE to join the EHS - GT Marelli - Insite team, reporting directly to the Plant Manager. This position is based at our office in Insite (Nissan) in Mexico.

As the EHS Specialist INSITE, you will ensure observance of current health & safety regulations and plant guidelines, lead risk assessment activities, and collaborate with management to implement protective measures and safety targets.

Formación

• Education: Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• English Proficiency: Intermediate.
• Knowledge of safety standards and certifications.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with the plant management to define the appropriate actions to reduce risks and protect workers’ health.
• Collaborate with Plant Management and EHS managers to identify applicable PPE (DPI) for workers.
• Ensure periodic checks of working environments to prevent health problems.
• Collaborate with Plant Management to define health and safety targets and related programs.
• Participate in periodic H&S meetings, providing reports on health status and surveillance results.
• Define and implement control measures and changes to manage risks.
• Identify potential emergency situations and establish counteracting methods, updating the Plant emergency plan.
• Identify risk factors and process-related assessments in the plant.
• Define preventive health measures following regulations and guidelines.
• Define and implement safety procedures for plant activities.
• Carry out internal audits to verify observance of standards and guidelines.
