Qualcomm Intl Inc., Mexico Branch Office seeks a seasoned Splunk platform engineer to manage a large-scale Splunk environment, including SHC/IDXC, deployment servers, and forwarders. You will own health, upgrades, and RBAC while supporting data pipelines and governance across observability stacks.

The role also advances the SIEM migration program, leveraging Cribl, AMA, and Sentinel connectors, and shaping data routing and enrichment for enterprise-scale insights.

Formación

• BS degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of Splunk admin or data engineering in enterprise environments.
• Experience with distributed Splunk deployments (SHC/IDXC/forwarders).
• Proficiency in Splunk admin tasks: knowledge objects, index management, retention, searches.
• Experience with Cribl (Stream/Edge) or similar data pipelines.
• Python or Perl scripting experience.
• Linux/UNIX familiarity.
• Cloud familiarity (AWS/Azure).

Responsabilidades

• Administer and support a large-scale distributed Splunk environment (SHC/IDXC/forwarders).
• Upgrade Splunk across tiers and perform post-upgrade testing.
• Monitor cluster health and licensing, forecast storage and compute needs.
• Develop pipelines with Cribl Stream/Edge, AMA, and observability tools.
• Support data routing to Splunk, Sentinel, Datadog, and ADX; optimize data ingestion and enrichment.
• Contribute to SIEM migration projects and security data flows.
