LIXIL Water Technology Americas in Mexico seeks a Project Engineer to manage projects in Chinaware New Product Development within manufacturing settings. Key responsibilities include supporting existing products and driving process improvements.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and must be fluent in English, with 2-3 years of relevant experience in Lean Manufacturing and PFMEA writing.

Formación

• 2 - 3+ years of experience working in a related position.
• Experience in Advanced Statistics for root cause analysis.
• Six Sigma certification required.

Responsabilidades

Responsibilities

This role is responsible for managing projects within our Industrialization process for Chinaware New Product Development (NPD) within our manufacturing facilities. The Project Engineer will also be responsible for supporting existing products as quality or manufacturing issues related to design arise. The engineer will need to work closely with the operations, quality, and process teams during these projects. The engineer will be responsible for creating the necessary documentation to hand over the product to operations. They will need to drive the definition of processes, implementation of best practices and fundamentals, and perform root cause analysis to identify potential problems that need to be solved to increase the product efficiency and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Preferable degrees would be in Chemical, Industrial
• Interpretation of control charts, process capability (Cp and Cpk).
• Ceramic, Materials or Mechanical disciplines
• 2 - 3 or more years of experience working in a related position.
• Must speak fluent English Advanced Statistics (8D’s, 5 Whys, brainstorming, Pareto charts, histograms)
• Lean Manufacturing experience
• Experience writing PFMEA’s
• Six Sigma certification
