Corning Inc. is seeking an IT Global Network Services Intern in Monterrey, Nuevo León. The intern will assist the GNS Operations Team by documenting procedures, supporting SOP updates, and improving operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate will be a student with foundational technical knowledge eager to learn about network operations, IT infrastructure, and emerging technologies like AI. This internship requires strong attention to detail, communication skills, and teamwork capability.

Formación

• Currently pursuing a degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
• Strong written communication skills to produce clear and organized documentation.
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow established processes.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a team environment.
• Willingness to learn operational processes and documentation standards.
• Ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in documenting operational procedures and workflows.
• Support the creation and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Help inventory and organize network-related documentation.
• Collaborate with team members to capture current-state processes.
• Assist in preparing operational reports and status summaries.
• Help track routine operational activities and incident trends.
• Support the team in creating simple process maps and visual guides.
