Blinds To Go in Saltillo, Mexico is seeking a .NET/SQL Developer to own critical production applications and connect manufacturing with corporate systems. You’ll work with production teams and engineers to translate needs into software solutions across the full SDLC.

The role requires 4+ years of software development, proficiency in VB.NET/C#, SQL, and ZPL, plus experience with JavaScript/JQuery and GitHub.

Reporting directly to IT Coordinator and working closely with the IT development team, the .NET/SQL Developer is the superuser of the network in the Saltillo facility and ensures the manufacturing areas are connected and communicating with the internal and corporate systems. He/she works directly with the production team and process engineers to define user needs to achieve the optimal outcome for the business and with the development team to implement solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance and maintain paperless work order production applications in VB.NET, C# and SQL
• Knowledge of ZPL programming
• Optimize code for maximum speed and scalability
• Assure adherence to design and coding best practices
• Understand the backend systems and dive into the code
• Process automation: scanning labels system, pictures for finish good
• Consumption/programming of Web APIs: 3D models of blinds, (web programming)
• Dedicated hardware programming at the software level: to do a software for the scanners, webcams, printers.
• Participate in the entire software development life cycle: to know programming, testing and deployment.

Key Requirements

• Degree in IT or a related field preferred
• +4 years of software development experience
• Knowledge to program webcams, scanners, printers
• ZPL Programming (required)
• Java Script Lenguage / JQuery (required)
• Github Knowledge (required)
• SQL Server (required)
• AS400 knowledge (desirable)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry software
• Bilingual Spanish and English
