Siemens in Ciudad Juárez, Mexico, is seeking an experienced Senior Purchaser to lead procurement for complex projects. You will manage PO creation, supplier communication, and expediting materials to maintain production schedules.

The ideal candidate has a BS/BA, 8+ years in purchasing, strong SAP and Excel skills, fluent English and Spanish, and a data-driven, highly organized mindset with a proactive, results-driven attitude.

Formación

• BS/BA in related discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in the position.
• Experienced in SAP, Excel (advanced), Microsoft Office.
• Bilingual English – Spanish (proeficient).
• Data driven, high analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Creation/validation of purchase orders with supporting documentation
• Establish communication with suppliers, following up on delivery status including coordination and tracking of shipments
• Expedite urgent materials in case of any discrepancy, variation of demand, vendor delays, etc.
• Reconcile supplier invoice discrepancies and execution
• Gap analysis comprehension, detection and, execution
• Lead the purchasing portion of new projects, owning the component until is fully deployed into production
