Littelfuse Mexico Services S De Rl De Cv is seeking a dedicated MRO Buyer to manage transactional procurement from requisition to PO closure and drive cost savings across sites. The role will ensure timely orders, supplier communication, and delivery tracking to support continuous operations.

The candidate will negotiate with suppliers, monitor contract compliance, and coordinate sourcing projects for standardization and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of purchasing experience with negotiations, contract management and sourcing.
• Advanced English level (C1) is required.
• Strong analytical and data handling skills; proficient with MS Office.

Responsabilités

• Maintain procurement performance metrics and support uninterrupted operations.
• Conduct supplier negotiations and manage supplier performance.
• Lead sourcing projects for standardization, cost savings and efficiencies.
• Develop RFIs/RFPs/RFQs for new/existing products and services.
• Drive cost reduction programs and support project-specific needs.
• Note: Remote role but monthly plant visits to Muzquiz Coahuila are mandatory.

The MRO Buyer reports to the Purchasing Leader. This role is responsible for MRO and indirect procurement activities, including sourcing, contract management, purchase order management, and cost savings initiatives, ensuring best practices and optimal total cost of ownership for the Muzquiz site and other assigned areas. The role will primarily focus on operational procurement activities, including PO issuance, order confirmation follow-up, delivery tracking, KPI compliance, and end-to-end purchase order lifecycle management to support business continuity and operational efficiency.

ABOUT THE JOB

• Manage the transactional procurement process from requisition to PO closure, ensuring timely order placement, supplier communication, delivery follow-up, and resolution of operational issues.
• This role is responsible for maintaining procurement performance metrics, supporting uninterrupted operations, and ensuring efficient execution of the purchase order lifecycle across assigned categories and business areas.
• Effectively conduct negotiations and manage supplier selection to meet quality, service, and cost requirements. Negotiates contracts with suppliers, reviews and ensures the performance of suppliers to ensure contract compliance and internal customer satisfaction
• Implement sourcing projects for standardization, preferred supplier utilization, cost savings, and operational efficiencies. Research and analysis of appointments received, selected or recommended providers. Preferred vendor analysis and reporting, savings project completion, vendor savings validations, inflation, inventory history, utilization/consumption, etc.
• RFI/RFP/RFQ development for new and existing products and services. Obtain goods and services from suppliers in a cost-effective manner while remaining consistent in quality, delivery, and project priority.
• Initiate and coordinate specific cost reduction programs. Deliver cost savings targets. Assist with other/specific projects as needed.
• This role is remote but as this role supports our plant at Muzquiz Coahuila, is mandatory to visit the plant at least once a month.

ABOUT YOU

• University degree with career to finish preferably.
• Experience in management projects.
• Minimum 3 years of purchasing experience (proficient in negotiations, contract management, and strategic sourcing. processes).
• Advanced English level (conversational, C1)
• Analytical capacity and computer skills (Word, Excel and Power Point)
• Preferably experience in various industry sites
• Preferably candidates that are located in Monterrey, Saltillo, Torreon, Gomez Palacios, Piedras Negras or any location near to Muzquiz
