Job summary

Edgewell Personal Care Italy S.R.L. is seeking an Injection Molding Process Engineer to optimize molding operations and lead process improvements on multiple projects. You will develop and document process parameters, qualify new tooling, and mentor the technical team to sustain quality and efficiency.

Role requires hands-on experience with single-shot, 2K and 3K molding, resin knowledge, and the ability to troubleshoot molding issues. Visa and travel are required for project deployments.

Qualifications

• Experience qualifying new tooling and optimizing injection molding processes.
• Knowledge of plastic resins and single-shot, 2K and 3K molding.
• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot injection molding issues.
• RJG MM1 or MM2 certification is a plus.
• Desirable experience with 6-axis robots.
• Knowledge of budget preparation and management.

Responsibilities

• Optimize injection molding processes to reduce scrap and cycle times.
• Manage qualifications for new projects or transfers.
• Develop processes using scientific molding methods and create documentation to ensure consistent quality and efficiency through established process specifications.
• Lead and develop the technical team in troubleshooting and process improvement.
• Provide technical support to production to address capacity issues, technical improvements and daily processing activities.
• Work with auxiliary equipment to support molding operations, including robots, molding machines and peripheral equipment.
• Lead and/or participate in teams to help achieve objectives.
• Provide performance feedback, assign tasks and direct work as needed.

• Ability to prepare and interpret manufacturing drawings.
• Use of office software for project planning.
• Knowledge of scientific molding.
• RJG MM1 or MM2 certification is a plus.
• Desirable experience with 6-axis robots.
• Knowledge of budget preparation and management.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Ability to communicate across departments and organizational levels and with external suppliers.
• Ability to work under pressure.

• Availbility to travel for long periods due to project implementation.
