Dauch Corporation is seeking a Molding and Melting Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations in the molding and melting production areas, ensuring efficient manufacturing, high product quality, and a safe working environment.

You will manage a team of production operators, plan schedules, train staff, monitor performance, coordinate with maintenance and quality control, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to meet targets.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment, specifically in molding and/or melting operations.
• Strong understanding of plastic injection molding, metal casting, or similar melting processes.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee the daily production schedule for molding and melting operations, ensuring adherence to targets and deadlines.
• Manage a team of production operators, including training, performance evaluation, scheduling, and disciplinary actions.
• Monitor and optimize production processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, equipment malfunctions, and process deviations.
• Implement and enforce all safety regulations and company policies, conducting regular safety audits and training.
• Maintain accurate production records, including output, downtime, and material usage.
• Collaborate with maintenance, quality control, and engineering departments to address production challenges and implement improvements.
• Conduct regular quality checks on products to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives within the molding and melting processes.
• Manage inventory of raw materials and finished goods within the production areas.

Molding and Melting Production Supervisor

Directly supervises hourly associates and directs resources as required.Oversees the planning, scheduling, setup, and running of production activities.Manages the dispersal and distribution of materials for production. Maintains labor and material requirements to meet the daily production schedule.Oversees the work of production associates and coordinates with leaders of production support staff; communicates expectations and provides direction and training. Monitors work performance and provides feedback.Coordinates maintenance of production equipment. Oversees process control and quality process control.

Required Skills And Education

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment, specifically in molding and/or melting operations.
• Strong understanding of plastic injection molding, metal casting, or similar melting processes.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and quality control standards.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency in using production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
