Google is seeking a Mid-level Software Engineer for Languages and Platforms in Mexico City. You will contribute to low-level LLVM optimization, toolchain improvements, and C++ toolchain reliability, while collaborating with senior engineers across teams to scale build processes.

The role emphasizes mentorship, problem-solving, and applying deep knowledge of C++/Python in a fast-paced environment. Applicants should submit in English.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with software development in C++ or Python, or 1 year with an advanced degree.
• Experience with compilers or toolchains; low level programming; knowledge of LLVM.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with teams to improve LLVM and related technologies for Google developers.
• Work with executive SWEs and Team Leads on LLVM features supporting Google long-term needs.
• Build agentic tools that automate engineering processes and reduce development toil.
• Lead design reviews and participate in OKR planning and roadmap definition.
• Identify problems through direct customer interaction and solve them.
