The Stellantis Quality organization is currently seeking a solutions-oriented Warranty Analysis Technician to join the Quality team at the Stellantis Toluca Parts Distribution Center in Toluca Mexico. The Warranty Analysis Technician is responsible for performing complete teardown analyses and testing in accordance with written instructions and established test procedures. This position requires the ability to understand component functionality and apply proven technical expertise to identify the root cause of failures. The ideal candidate will be a high-energy, hands-on individual with experience working cross-functionally and possess a broad understanding of the automotive engineering, manufacturing, and quality landscape. Additionally, this individual must demonstrate unquestioned integrity. As this is a highly visible role, candidates must always conduct themselves in a professional manner.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assembling, installing, removing, disassembling, repairing, and evaluating components and related parts. The position may also require performing fabrication duties as operationally needed. The technician will set up and operate test equipment on warranty-returned components to evaluate functionality, performance, and other operating characteristics based on customer complaint data and observations, following standard test procedures. Analysis activities include conducting dealership interviews, utilizing corporate data systems, collaborating with suppliers regarding their testing procedures, reviewing corporate systems such as QNA and DIPAP, and assessing related repair information to determine the appropriate course of action for identifying the root cause of the complaint or failure. The technician is responsible for documenting daily findings and root cause analysis results within the Part Return Analysis System (PRAS), maintaining the cleanliness of the work area and equipment, and assisting with special assignments as required.
