Job summary

Payoneer Mexico seeks an experienced Compliance Officer to lead the AML/CFT program as a regulated IFPE, serving as the local MLRO and primary liaison with CNBV and authorities. The role is based in Polanco, Mexico City, with hybrid working arrangements.

You will collaborate with global compliance, legal, risk, and product teams to embed local controls, maintain regulatory filings, and oversee sanctions screening and reporting. Fluency in Spanish and strong English are required.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of progressive compliance/AML experience in regulated financial services.
• Experience as a designated Compliance Officer or equivalent regulatory role preferred.
• Deep knowledge of Mexico's AML/CFT framework and CNBV provisions for IFPEs.

Responsibilities

• Design and enhance Payoneer Mexico's AML/CFT program in line with CNBV provisions.
• Act as MX Compliance Officer and MLRO, coordinating with regulators and authorities.
• Maintain policies, procedures, and controls reflecting local and global standards.
• Support monitoring, investigations, and regulatory exams; manage information requests.
• Prepare governance reports and KPIs for leadership and Board.
• Bridge local operations with global compliance, legal, and risk functions.
