Jabil, a global manufacturing solutions provider, seeks an experienced metrology specialist to coordinate and review inspections using optical and tactile instruments. You will guide less experienced staff and support metrology method development and software tools.

The role requires strong GD&T knowledge, CMM programming familiarity, and hands-on inspection leadership on the production floor.

Formación

• Experience performing FAI, FIR, and various inspections.
• Knowledge of GD&T principles and metrology methods.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct First Article Inspection (FAI), FIR, test reports, incoming, in-process and final inspections
• Establish CMM programs, release, and control according to internal procedure
• Support New Product Introduction and Design Transfers at the site
• Support and conduct Validation activities (CSV, TMV, Gage R&R, etc.)
• Reviews reports concerning workmanship defects and other quality issues
• Performs complex tests and analyses to ensure compliance with specifications
• Perform various inspections on finished goods, components, and materials
• Prepare documentation showing test results
• Act as Subject Matter Expert for GD&T and measurement methodologies
• Formulate corrective action recommendations for management
• Prepare remedial recommendations and statistical reports on CMM results
• Provide training on optical and tactile measuring instruments
