Siemens Energy in Querétaro, Mexico seeks a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to design and draft Medium Voltage switchgear. You will prepare customer-approved documents and coordinate with manufacturing, sales, and QA to ensure compliant, timely delivery.

The ideal candidate has a degree in Electrical Engineering, strong English, and hands-on experience with E Plan CAD and electrical schematics, with a commitment to quality and confidentiality.

Formación

• Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Advanced English.
• Ability to design, understand and evaluate electrical schematics to identify errors or potential improvements.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to do what it takes to get the job done with high quality and in a professional manner.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as necessary.
• Electrical design/drafting experience with E Plan
• Proven experience with Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to multitask, managing large workloads and business demands.
• An ideal candidate is detailed orientated and able to embrace a culture of quality.
• Due to the nature of the position and the need for continuous interaction with internal & external clients, physical presence at the company's premises is required.

Responsabilidades

• Create documents for customer approval and manufacturing of MV switchgears.
• Manage resources and processes for project engineering development and meet factory delivery dates.
• Advise sales/quotations department in order to offer the best product solution to clients.
• Monitor compliance and validity of products according to current international specifications and HQ guidelines.
• Identify new products for local manufacturing to maintain market expectations.
• Ensure continuous improvement in our processes and projects.
• Knowledge of E Plan CAD software to complete drawings and keep symbols & devices libraries updated.
• Visually compare design of component, or other equipment with drawing of parts, matching coordinating points for accuracy of fit.
• Work with the factory manufacturing team to diagnose and resolve engineering issues.
• Understand that job descriptions change over time and you are expected to maintain competence, awareness, and compliance with your job.
• Treat all Siemens information and customer information in a confidential manner.
