Marelli in North America Electronics Systems is seeking a Product Engineer - Mechanical Design to join the team in Aguascalientes, Mexico. You will design and develop mechanical solutions for electronic products, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

You will apply GD&T, use CAD tools, conduct prototyping and testing, and drive DFx concepts to ensure manufacturability and reliability.

This role offers growth in a global automotive supplier environment with cross-disciplinary project exposure.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years of mechanical design experience in electronics or automotive industries.

About the Position:

We are looking for a Product Engineer - Mechanical Design to join the North America Electronic Systems Product Engineering team, reporting directly to the Product Engineering Manager.

This position is based at our office in Aguascalientes, Mexico.

As the Product Engineer - Mechanical Design at Marelli, you will play a critical role in designing and developing innovative mechanical solutions for our electronic products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality designs that meet customer specifications and industry standards.

Your Responsibilities will be:

• Design and Development:Create detailed mechanical designs for electronic products, ensuring compliance with engineering principles, company standards, and customer requirements. Apply Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) for precise fits between components.
• Prototyping and Testing:Develop Contribute with prototypes building andtesting to validate design concepts, identify potential issues, and ensure functionality and reliability.
• Collaboration:Work closely with the otherproduct engineering teams, software developers, and other team members to integrate mechanical designs with electronic and software components.

• Analysis and Simulation:Utilize CAD tools and simulation software to analyze and optimize designs for performance, manufacturability, and cost-effectiveness. Drive Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles.

What Qualifications you will bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in the electronic systems or automotive industry.
