SEGULA Technologies is seeking a hands-on Mechanical & Automation Project Engineer to support the Operation Rigid Support project. You will be embedded on-site at our manufacturing facility in Aguascalientes, leading installation, validation, design revision, and startup of production machinery and automated lines.

Responsibilities include design reviews with AutoCAD/SolidWorks, supervising equipment installation, functional testing, and documenting performance metrics for stakeholders.

Formación

• Hands-on mechanical design and project engineering experience.
• Experience with CAD-based layout revisions and reviews.
• Ability to lead installation, testing and commissioning activities.

• Perform mechanical design reviews, layout revisions, and updates using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Supervise and actively support third-party suppliers and internal teams during installation and commissioning of production equipment.
• Execute functional testing, dry runs, and line validations to meet specifications and standards.
• Follow up on automation tasks, system integration, and troubleshooting under leads.
• Document daily production metrics, cycle times, and line performance.
• Generate daily/weekly progress reports for stakeholders.
• Adhere to Segula plant policies, ESH protocols, and industrial standards.

Position Overview

Segula Technologies is seeking a hands-on, highly skilled Mechanical & Automation Project Engineer to support the Operation Rigid Support project. In this role, you will be embedded on-site at our manufacturing facility in Aguascalientes, leading the installation, validation, design revision, and operational start-up of production machinery and automated lines.

Key Responsibilities

• Mechanical Design & Engineering: Perform mechanical design reviews, layout revisions, and updates using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Machinery & Equipment Installation: Supervise and actively support third-party suppliers and internal teams during the installation and commissioning of production equipment.
• Testing & Validation: Execute functional testing, dry runs, and line validations to ensure machinery meets defined technical specifications and quality standards.
• Automation Support: Follow up on automation tasks, system integration, and troubleshooting under the guidance of technical project leads.
• Data & Performance Tracking: Document daily production metrics, cycle times, overall line performance, and operational incidents.
• Reporting & Collaboration: Participate in daily production and supplier training meetings, generating daily/weekly progress reports for stakeholders.
• Safety & Compliance: Strictly adhere to all Segula Technologies plant policies, ESH (Environmental, Health, and Safety) protocols, and industrial standards.
