Job summary

Selinc in Mexico invites an entry-level Materials Handler to learn and apply SEL Values and Principles of Operation, support World Class Manufacturing concepts, and perform daily materials and receiving tasks to meet customer service and delivery goals.

You will work cooperatively in a team, maintain a safe workspace, and learn to operate ERP and mobile equipment. Prior forklift experience is a plus; you must pass drug screening and background check.

Qualifications

• Ability to listen, comprehend, and follow instructions.
• Basic math, documentation, reading, writing and communication skills.
• Manual dexterity and ability to concentrate.
• Ability to frequently lift 40 pounds.
• Adhere to SEL's tobacco-free policy.
• Compliance with heightened periodic drug testing for operators of SEL vehicles.
• Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities.
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
• Background check results satisfactory to SEL.
• Negative drug test result(s).

• Learn and perform daily materials and receiving tasks to achieve customer expectations for service and delivery by reading and following area documentation and operating mobile equipment.
• Improve performance by learning from previous experience, others, accepting new assignments and by openly receiving regular feedback.
• Work cooperatively within a team environment.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area and equipment.
