Cummins Latin America is looking for a Material Planner to handle demands, materials planning, production line scheduling, and inventory control. The role involves creating initiatives to ensure product quality and timely customer delivery.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or a related field, alongside 1-2 years of experience in a similar role. You should be proficient in Excel and have upper-intermediate English skills. This is a 100% on-site position located in Ciénega de Flores, Nuevo León.

Formación

Experience as a Material Planner or Logistics Analyst for 1-2 years.
More than 2 years of experience in a relevant field.

Responsabilidades

Create initiatives to prevent nonconformities in systems and processes.
Convert customer requirements into the order entry system.
Coordinate with scheduling to ensure customer needs are met.
Analyze production and customer inventory requirements.
Monitor material supply, production, and shipment to customers.
Prepare forecast data for volume review meetings.

Conocimientos

Intermediate Excel skills

Conversational English (upper-intermediate)

Knowledge of MRP systems

Educación

Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or related field

Herramientas

Oracle system experience

Job Summary

Reviewing demands, materials planning, production line scheduling, and inventory control.

Key Responsibilities

Create initiatives to prevent nonconformities related to product systems, processes, and quality.
Convert customer requirements into the order entry system with the appropriate shipping date based on demand and manufacturing capabilities.
Coordinate with scheduling to ensure customer needs are met.
Analyze production, load capacities, and customer inventory requirements to establish shipping dates, and keep the location database updated.
Ensure customer orders are delivered on time by monitoring material supply, production, and shipment to the customer.
Keep production lines running to avoid stoppages.
Prepare and analyze forecast data in units for the monthly volume review meeting; determine customer line rates and penetrations.
