Job summary

Polaris Monterrey seeks a Materials Manager to lead warehouse operations, inbound/outbound logistics, inventory control, and material movement to support high-volume production. You will drive accuracy, efficiency, and safety across the facility.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering/Logistics, 5+ years in materials management or warehouse ops, and ERP experience (SAP/Oracle). Lean manufacturing and continuous-improvement experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in materials management or warehouse operations.
• Experience in automotive or high-volume manufacturing industries.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous-improvement tools.
• Proven ability to lead warehouse and materials-flow teams.
• Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Strong understanding of inventory accuracy, internal material flow, and logistics coordination.
• Effective communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee receiving, storage, picking, inventory control, and outbound shipping.
• Ensure timely and accurate material flow to production lines.
• Maintain strong inventory accuracy through cycle-count programs.
• Develop warehouse and materials teams, collaborating with production and planning.
• Implement continuous-improvement initiatives focused on safety, efficiency, cost control, and material-handling optimization.
