A global supplier in automotive parts is seeking a professional in Saltillo, Mexico, to oversee administrative activities in supply chain management. Responsibilities include ensuring a high on-time delivery rate, controlling inventory levels, and developing team capabilities. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in materials management and the automotive sector, as well as proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and advanced English skills.

Formación

• 5-7 years of experience in materials management.
• Preferably 5 years in the automotive industry.
• Proficient in transportation logistics.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure 99.5% on-time delivery rate to customers.
• Control inventory levels and apply MRP strategies.
• Train team on RUMBA systems and FCA requirements.

Descripción del empleo

Responsible for administrative activities such as records integrity analysis, inventory variance analysis, and ensuring inventory reliability. This includes analyzing material requirements with customers, scheduling production to ensure accurate and timely production and prevent line stoppages and ensuring shipments of end items and Mopar.

• Ensure a 99.5% on-time delivery (OTD) rate to the customer, including MOPAR service parts and end items, using available tools such as QAD, Critical Item List, and Production Schedules.
• Control inventory levels according to targets, monitoring and applying MRP control strategies.
• Develop a strategic vision for the supply chain.
• Train and develop team members on RUMBA systems and FCA requirements.
• Generate the best cost/benefit ratio for supplying materials to the plant.
• Proficient in ERP/MRP systems and logistics (transportation).
• Proficient in FCA systems, including DRIVE, CHAMPS, CSDS, and CRATES.
• Develop a support person for the activities performed.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in materials.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the automotive industry, preferably.
• Advanced English.
