Caterpillar is seeking a Material Planning Analyst to ensure materials availability and coordinate with suppliers. The role requires SAP CBS proficiency, strong planning skills, and English ability. The position is onsite in Santa Catarina, Nuevo León, with a five-day workweek.

You will analyze forecasts, manage material requirements, and optimize inventory while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet production targets and logistics deadlines.

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, International Relations, or any Supply Chain field.
• Strong analytical capabilities and data-driven decision making.
• Proven experience planning materials and coordinating with suppliers.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze sales forecast, production plan and inventory levels to assure materials availability in a timely manner.
• Manage correct planning of materials requirements and coordination with suppliers to avoid shortages and overstocks.
• Determine and plan the materials stock level for stock replenishment or regular needs.
• Knowledge of Material Requirements Planning; SAP CBS module preferred.
• Coordinate operational logistics to ensure timely delivery to plants or warehouses.
• Aim to meet supply chain performance targets: backorders, ship dates, SSP, past due schedules, inventory and turns.
• Identify and use software systems (e.g., Microsoft, Excel, SAP) to manage supply chain.
• Execute schedule adjustments: EOQs, order min/mults, misdirected shipments, transportation issues, ASN, engineering changes, backorder escalation.

Recognizes software systems or components used to manage supply chain.
