Job summary

Ericsson in Tlaxcala, Mexico is seeking a Material Planner to ensure the availability and efficient use of materials for new products, assess needs and production requirements, issue and update first purchase orders to secure material availability at project start-up, and guarantee delivery dates while coordinating pricing information per component.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or related field
• Strong knowledge of BOMs, Material Routes and ERP systems
• Experience in sourcing and supplier management

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with purchasing the availability and delivery of materials for new projects.
• Guarantee the availability and use of materials according to the master production plan.
• Calculate and evaluate the needs of materials, priorities and production requirements.
• Issue and update purchase orders (including purchasing master data)
• Follow-up of purchase orders to ensure delivery date.
• Control the level of inventory, following inventory policies.
• Maintain inventory supply seeking to improve the company's budget.
• Adapt to changes in demand and adapt delivery plans.
