Job summary

Flex in Tijuana is seeking a Master Scheduler to join our materials planning team. Report to Materials Planning Manager, you will create daily production schedules and coordinate with manufacturing, materials, and program teams to meet deadlines.

This role requires a Bachelor's degree and experience in production planning, inventory control, and data analysis using Excel; you will drive efficiency and ensure smooth flow from raw materials to finished goods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Production/Operations or related field.
• Experience in Production Planning and Production Control.
• Knowledge of production plans and production order management.
• Experience with cycle count planning and inventory control.
• Strong cross-functional communication with Manufacturing, Materials, and Supply Chain.
• Proficient in Excel and data analysis.
• Fluent in English; good communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Create daily production schedules.
• Supervise that deadlines are met.
• Ensure efficiency in scheduling with CTB (Clear to Build) utilization.
• Liaise between the Material Account Manager and Program Teams on demand management.
• Work closely with production personnel on accountabilities and productivity issues.
• Plan efficient transaction of process with production personnel to ensure zero downtime.
• Ensure smooth transaction of manufacturing process to raw materials.
• Develop strategies and liaise with operational teams on capacity & equipment utilization.
• Work closely with operations to ensure smooth flow from raw material to final goods stage.
• Use knowledge and experience of process flow to provide a useful resource to Materials on ERP and business system issues.
• Provide training to staff members as required.
• Report key metrics as required.

• Strong communication, organizational, problem-solving, and follow-up skills.
