TE Connectivity in Ciudad Juárez seeks a Plant Master Scheduler to translate the approved demand and supply plan into a feasible production schedule for the plant, ensuring the right product is produced, at the right time, in the right quantity.

You will collaborate with plant planning, procurement, and warehouse teams to avoid shortages or excess, monitor schedule adherence, and drive improvements to scheduling logic and data quality.

Formación

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 7 years of experience in large-scale manufacturing.
  • 3-5 years in manufacturing / supply chain with vendor management and process improvement.
  • Lean manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Willingness to travel.

Responsabilidades

  • Develop, maintain, and publish the Master Production Schedule (MPS) based on the SIOP/IBP plan.
  • Convert demand signals into time-phased production plans at SKU/family level.
  • Ensure schedule feasibility considering capacity, material, labor, and constraints.
  • Sequence production orders to optimize throughput and asset utilization.
  • Validate capacity and monitor plan vs. actuals to mitigate deviations.
  • Collaborate with plant planning, procurement, and warehouse teams to avoid shortages or excess.

Job Overview

Creates plans, forecasts, and schedules relating to materials required and maintains proper inventory levels to meet operational requirements.

Job Requirements
  • Adjusting production schedules and collaborating with the production team to meet the target and on-time delivery to the customer.
  • Monitoring the product lifecycle, controlling the inventory, and arranging production schedules based on raw materials availability and assembly line capacity.
  • Assessing and communicating risks, tracking shipments from the suppliers, and coordinating with logistics, customs, and inspection to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Planning the raw materials and components requirements based on the sale order, new product sourcing, and supplier development across multiple product lines.
What Your Background Should Look Like

The Plant Master Scheduler is accountable for translating the approved demand and supply plan into a feasible, executable, and optimized production schedule for the plant. The role ensures the right product is produced, at the right time, in the right quantity, while balancing customer service, inventory targets, capacity constraints, and cost.

This role is a key connector between SIOP plans and shop floor execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and publish the Master Production Schedule (MPS) based on the approved SIOP/IBP plan.
  • Convert demand signals (customer orders, forecasts) into time phased production plans at SKU / family level.
  • Ensure schedule feasibility considering capacity, material availability, labor, tooling, and constraints.
  • Sequence production orders to optimize throughput, changeovers, and asset utilization.
  • Validate available vs. required capacity (machines, labor, shifts).
  • Identify bottlenecks and overloads and propose mitigation actions (re sequencing, overtime, subcontracting, inventory buffers).
  • Ensure production plans are aligned with material availability (RM, WIP, critical components).
  • Collaborate closely with plant planning, procurement, and warehouse teams to avoid shortages or excess.
  • Drive adherence to inventory targets (FG, WIP) while protecting customer service.
  • Support phase in / phase out execution and obsolescence risk mitigation
  • Monitor and report schedule adherence, plan vs. actuals, and root causes of deviation
  • Interface daily with Production & Manufacturing Engineering, Procurement / Material, Planning, Customer Service / Order Management, Quality & Logistics
  • Act as the single point of coordination for plant level scheduling decisions
  • Improve scheduling logic, parameters, and planning data quality (lead times, routings, yields).
  • Drive reduction of expedites, firefighting, and short term rescheduling.
  • Support implementation and optimization of planning tools (ERP/APS)

Experience/Skills
  • Bachelor´s deegre
  • 7 years experience in large scale manufacturing/production required
  • 3-5 years experience in manufacturing / Supply Chain with proven track record of success in external vendor management, SOP, continuous improvement, Supply Chain transformation, inventory management
  • Strong analytic capability and hands‑on experience in leading lean manufacturing initiatives will be preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and people management skills; the ability to hire, develop, support and motivate teams
  • Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office, SAP or other MRP system)
  • Lean Manufacturing principles
  • Fluent in English
  • Open to travel
