Vertiv Co in Reynosa, Mexico, seeks a Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineer to sustain and improve its products through the lifecycle. You will lead engineering changes, resolve technical issues, and collaborate with manufacturing and quality teams to boost reliability and cost efficiency.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in engineering, strong problem-solving, and experience with CAD, ERP/MRP, and engineering documentation.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• Experience supporting products in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
• Knowledge of engineering change management processes.
• Experience with CAD systems, ERP/MRP platforms, and engineering documentation.

Responsabilidades

• Support and maintain existing products throughout their lifecycle.
• Investigate and resolve product, manufacturing, supplier, and field-related technical issues.
• Lead ECOs, documentation updates, and product modifications.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing and Quality to improve reliability, quality, and cost.
• Support component obsolescence management and alternative part qualification.
• Drive cost reduction, value engineering, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Evaluate and approve design changes while ensuring standards compliance.
• Support production lines by addressing technical concerns and minimizing disruptions.
• Maintain engineering documentation, BOMs, drawings, and specifications.
