Job summary

Danfoss invites an Engineering Intern to Querétaro, MX, in the Power Solutions segment. The role focuses on developing and improving manufacturing processes to boost safety, quality and productivity while you study Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering.

You will generate documentation (drawings and tool sheets), support continuous improvement activities, and help strengthen the quality management system. On-site mornings and learning through mentoring are provided.

Qualifications

• Studying Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related.
• Mechanical aptitude and understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Computerskills (Microsoft Office, Power BI,PLC, test stand)
• Ability to read and understand hydraulic & electrical schematics
• Be able to work on site, by the mornings

Responsibilities

• Generates documentation of manufacturing processes (drawings and tool sheet). Supports and/or participates in Continuous Improvement Activities such as Kaizen, Ideas Programs, cost out and/or demonstrate improvements in goals year over year in our processes or practices aligned to achieve or business goals and objectives. Promote risk prevention/assessment and process attachment. Assume and motivate responsibility and accountability across the organization related with quality management system effectiveness. Any other activity that your immediate supervisor designates.
